John is the founder of Pneuma. Clay was a last-minute addition to the first-ever Pneuma Retreat. All of his friends & family were confused because it was so out of character for him to travel across the country to meet up with random guys. However, he felt the need for a change in his life, and the Lord had drawn him to Pneuma. We became fast friends on that first trip, and despite living 12 hours apart, we continued to pursue friendship afterward. Then, after Clay joined for 2 more trips, we decided it was officially time that he be named co-host, and this is the role he serves now!

     John has been married to Liz for 6 years. Together, they travel the world with cameras in hand, documenting intimate weddings, making YouTube videos, shooting film, and working with brands. John became a creative professional nearly 10 years ago and has since led various ministries. Jesus radically saved him from a worldly life and Catholic-agnosticism the week before he graduated high school in 2013. John now serves as an itinerant evangelistic minister with Ambassadors for Christ USA.

Clay has been married to Cat for 6 years, and they have 3 incredible kids (2 sons and 1 daughter). Clay has been working with cameras professionally for 8 years in a wide range of contexts, many of which overlapped with ministries from outdoor camps, YoungLife, and his local church. He’s known Jesus’s love for him since before he can remember. He’s been freelancing full-time for 4 years now, but before that, he was the lead content producer for a company.
